Fall 2003 - Spring 2004, Napa, CA        We try it out!  After years of being in the wine industry, we decide to make our own house wine.  We make a Sauvignon Blanc, Rose of Zinfandel and of course a Zinfandel.

Spring 2004, Napa,CA         The crowds cheer! We serve our wine at a party and discover people love it!  More than the stuff grown-ups make!  Some of our friends get cranky when they find out they can’t buy it.  We are scolded for blind taste tests.

Late Spring 2004,        We decide to get independent verification.  Kristin enters our wine in The California State Fair and we win two Silver medals and one Bronze medal!

August, 2004        We sell our souls!  Well, we mortgaged our house & raided our nascent retirement funds to . . . buy grapes!  We’re nuts, but we’re happy.

August 30, 2004        We harvest!  The grapes taste delightful, full of promise. So much to do . . .
